San Juan, the capital of Puerto Rico is surrounded by an old Spanish Colonial heritage that can be seen everywhere. The streets of Old San Juan are made of blue coble stones called "adoquines". These stones have been silent witnesses of our history, urban development, social life and even pirates' attacks. The streets are also filled with colors from the facades of the colonial houses and their balconies covered with flowers. Tourists blend in with the city people while they walk around to know about the historical monuments, food and history. Vendors sell ice cream made of tropical fruits and "piraguas" or ice cones. The magenta house to the right is also the studio of Puerto Rican artist Jorge Zeno. If you look closely you can see two flags on top of the table; Puerto Rico and Thailand flags joined in friendship. I have been to Thailand and I loved your country, so it makes me very happy to participate in this art exchange and share the colors of Puerto Rico with my friends in Thailand.
